CRUSH Recovery Center

Debbie Courtney serves as Assistant Director of CRUSH Recovery Center, a community she helped build from the ground up to support individuals and families impacted by substance use. What began as a small gathering rooted in shared loss and lived experience has grown into a thriving recovery hub reaching thousands across the region.

A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Debbie’s work is deeply personal. Having grown up in a home affected by addiction, walking alongside her husband in recovery, and ultimately losing her son, Chad, to an overdose, she brings profound empathy and understanding to those she serves. She courageously shares her story to break stigma, inspire hope, and remind others that healing is possible.

Known for her compassionate leadership, Debbie fosters a culture of belonging and champions multiple pathways to recovery. Through resilience, faith, and unwavering love, she continues to transform loss into purpose- helping others find hope and healing.
